Happy 2015 + Updates
Happy belated 2015! Hope you are all off to a great start this year.
I've been AFK from DA for pretty much all of 2014, testing my skills in a variety of different areas such as wayfinding design, UI design, industrial design and so on. I love mixing my skills in the digital design melting pot, and painting has become more of a happy hobby for me rather than something I want to do full time. I have many new landscape ideas that I'm working on to share with you to break my online lull, having spent a lazy summer by the beach dreaming of fantastical worlds and places.
On a more serious note, it was brought to my attention in November last yea
On Working For Free
I recently posted this on my blog and Facebook page, however it’s an issue I am very passionate about as a professional (albeit freelance) artist and designer: free work and the assumption that artists are willing to work for free.

The travel bug has bitten me badly, and both my curiosity and love of adventure have only become thirstier. There are so many places I want to see and experience, so I nee
I am a 2013 SKA Art Prize Finalist!
I have some incredibly exciting news! As you may know, I am (primarily) a digital artist, and it is a rare thing to find Australian art competitions in which digital art is accepted. My solution to this is fairly simple: I don't enter art competitions. A month ago, I submitted a digital painting into the 2013 SKA Art Prize - I woke up this morning to discover that I had been shortlisted as a finalist, with a chance of winning some ~real money~. There is also a People's Choice selection run separately from the main competition - if you like my work enough to vote for me, I'd very much appreciate the support! :) The process seems to be a bit fi
